There has been a church on the site of All Saints in Kingston since the ninth century. In the tenth century it was the location for the crowning of the first kings that could be described as monarchs of England - it is the
place where England began.
Sadly, this historic church - the only Grade 1 building in Kingston - is in poor repair. We aim to restore it so as to enable residents and visitors alike to understand and explore its place in the history of the town and the nation over the past thousand years. But more than this, we aim to develop it into a heritage and community complex which will give new vitality to the town centre while providing a range of essential services for those in need.
To do this vital and much needed work we need to raise just over
£8.5 million and need your help to make this possible. We have got off to a flying start and have raised over 15% of this total, including a major grant from the
