We have a comprehensive fund-raising strategy in place to raise the finance for this project from charitable trusts, corporate donors and individual benefactors. But donors of all kinds will look to us to be able to demonstrate that the project has the backing of those most closely involved—and that is where you come in.
Many people have already shown their support by organising and attending fund-raising events, by undertaking sponsored activities, or simply by making a one-off or regular donation. If you would like to help in one of these ways, please contact us. We would be particularly pleased to hear from you if you would like to get involved in organising events.
A visitor looking round the church is quickly reminded of the lives of thousands of people who have used the building in the past. We will be announcing over the next few months ways in which you can attach your name directly to elements of the project - for example, by buying a tile for the church floor, or naming a seat. We recognise that individuals will vary in the amount they are able to give, and intend to have a variety of possibilities to suit every pocket.
Companies are playing a huge part in supporting their local community project and yours can to.
The history of the merchants of Kingston lives on in the memorials around the church. We are very open to suggestions of ways in which this tradition can be continued. We are for instance always willing to discuss naming rights for facilities such as a room in the new building. Or you may prefer to sponsor some particular element of the church restoration or the landscaping work, for which we would of course arrange suitable recognition.
Alternatively you could host or sponsor a fund-raising event, or simply make us your company charity.
Whatever approach best suits your objectives as a company, we will be pleased to talk to you about a tailored solution. If you would like more information please get in touch via the contact us pages.
